B1RD
Just as beautiful today as it was four years ago. Thanks for bringing it back from the archives. Don't think I've ever seen it before. Anyone know if it's on take-off or cruise?
Can't see the control surfaces but check out the vortex on the right wing tip.(distortion?)

Definately take-off. Apart from the afterburners, Vapor formation over the wings occurs in high wing load situations such as during slow speed landing, take-off and tight turning at speed. Not cruising. The 'distortion is heat haze from the exhaust exaggerated a little by the telephoto lens. Great shot.
well done
Every time I see this pic it takes me back to the Golden days of Concorde. Used to Come to TBPB every Saturday. Can never forget the smoky takeoff.
Actually it is a High speed low pass and pull up at the Abbotsford international Airshow

William is right. Cannot select takeoff power(full augment)with weight on wheels and wings at any position but full forward. Those wings are fully swept at 60 degrees.
I took the photo so I should know LOL
nicely done

Great shot! William, would you mind sharing exposure info, including, ISO. I imagine everything would be quite high for this subject?
